One place to answer “what should I do tonight?” — without scrolling five Facebook groups, two ticketing apps and a stale listicle.

What this is

BKK Vibe is an events guide for Bangkok that aims to be complete rather than curated: if it’s happening in the city — a warehouse rave, a temple fair, a gallery opening, a Sunday vinyl session — it should be here. Right now the guide carries 686 live listings, and rebuilds itself several times a day.

How it works

The guide is operated by software. A pipeline reads ticketing platforms, venue calendars and event pages, extracts the who-what-when-where from each, merges duplicate sightings of the same event across sources, and checks every field against the evidence before publishing.

That last step matters: we never assert an unverified value as fact. A field we couldn’t confirm ships visibly flagged — “TBC — check source” — with a link to the original page so you can trust the source over us. Every listing shows its sources; past and cancelled events are removed or flagged automatically.

How we verify

1. Gather listings from ticketing platforms, venue calendars and event pages.
2. Merge duplicate sightings of the same event across sources into one listing.
3. Check every field — date, venue, price, booking link — against its source.
4. Omit any field we can’t verify rather than guess; it ships flagged “TBC — check source” instead.

What this isn’t

We don’t sell tickets — booking links go straight to the venue or ticketing platform. We don’t take payment for placement. There’s no algorithmic feed: it’s a listings page, sorted by date, filtered by you.

Running an event we missed, or spotted an error? Email us — a link is enough, the pipeline does the rest. Coverage is the whole point; missing events are bugs.
